Mark Fisher’s Finnegan’s Crossing
3mm Narrow Gauge
Finnegan’s Crossing is built to 3mm scale but to narrow gauge depicting a section of the once extensive Irish Narrow gauge, which was built to 3’0″. In 3mm scale this gives a track gauge of 9mm. The layout is 4’0″ by 4’0″ and uses peco 009 track, most of the stock is either scratch built or uses Worsley Works kits with some of the Locos built by Paul Windle. This layout is the result of a love of the Irish narrow gauge going back over nearly 40 years, and although simple in conception gives a very atmospheric snapshot of an Irish scene now unfortunately passed.
