Each item consists of 2 wheels, 2 crankpins and an axle

Available with either 12mm, 13.5mm or 14.2mm axles, specify which when ordering.  Crankpin options are ‘L’ for Long pin for connecting rod wheels or ‘S’ for Short pin with just a coupling rod.

1/8″ diameter axle shouldered to 2 mm to fit the hole in the wheel and set back to back. Flanges add 1.1 mm to the diameter

All driving wheels, except the “industrials”, are produced with a long shouldered crankpin for coupling and connecting rods or short shouldered crankpins for coupling rods only. Types required to be specified on ordering.

Tyres are manufactured from nickel silver for all driving wheels and from steel for wagon, coach, bogie and tender wheels. The steel tyres are “blackened” before the wheels are moulded. When ordering state short or long pin required.
