BR 1948‑mid 1960 wagons, mostly white with Fish & Meat plus background to Ore Tippler in black.
1950’s Wagons: using the tonnage as a guide, tying up numbers to wagons should be easy. The relevant tare weight is either to the top right, or bottom left of the number. if the wagon has a code name, the number follows it. Any special lettering is normally close by. The black stripes are backing for unfitted lettering on grey wagons (leave to dry first). Yellow lettering can be made by colouring the applied transfer when dry with a yellow felt pen (not all pens work). a black wagon.
Yet to find data for the fifth wagon, Carlton Colliery Association No 3541, but their others are black wagons.
