3mm Scale Modelling Forum (The Egroup)

This is an online discussion group run independently of the Society but only open to current 3mm Society members. If you wish to join this group, please contact the membership secretary using the contact form above.

Area groups

The Society supports a number of local groups in various parts of the UK and overseas. These groups are organised by individuals who often arrange meetings at members homes or other venues. These groups are an ideal way to meet up with other Society members on an informal basis to discuss modelling issues, exchange ideas and share experiences. Many friendships have been formed in these groups and they provide a great opportunity to socialise with like minded people.

A list of the currently active groups and how to contact them is available online for members only.  Login required – click here

Volunteers

An organisation like ours depends solely on volunteer efforts to function. Volunteers are crucial to what we do and without them, things stop happening. Many volunteers go quietly about their business and most other members don’t hear about their important work but they do witness the results. There are over 35 individuals, some doing more than one job who deliver everything the Society does. From the more obvious volunteers like the committee, through teams of people assembling wheels, kits and spare parts to the groups running the shops and casting service.
